First and most importantly. We here at Immortalis Vitae are kind, giving people but we will NOT be taken for granted. This is why SDL was recently closed down. People expected to write here with little care as to the people and the stress it took to keep the place going. You will NOT come here to constantly complain, this is a RP / Writing Fantasy board not a place to bring all your real life problems to. It kills the RP. And to sit and complain about this and that is ridiculous.
Real life DOES take the front seat when it comes to the Internet, Period. If your the kind of person who lives on RP boards -- The Internet and is impatient to wait for a post, then we do NOT want you here.
No OOC talk in IC rooms. This is an old rule everyone should know. Any OOC talk, whether in parenthesis or not, will be removed from posts. If this happens two more times after, the post will be deleted in full.
You must post once to twice a week to stay active here. We go easy on this rule to a point since we know a lot at the board are parents, have one job or more and or college. Inactivity of one month or longer is subject to purge.
You must sign into all Roll Calls to stay a member here. Failure to do so makes us think you think or are inactive or perhaps left without notice.
Posts must be written in story form not action form (ie: *Steps from the shadows* Hello). Spoken dialogue should be denoted with quotation marks.
You may not post what another character does or thinks (unless under a spell) without messaging the player for permission first. You can if the other character is played by you. You can also control a non-playable character (NPC) you have created to benefit your storyline.
You may not kill another character without the player's permission and the board administrator being alerted as well.
If dialogue calls for using another language, please post the translation in parentheses. Or you could post that character is speaking in another language, but post the English version. Just make sure everyone can understand what's being said.
NO incest, beastiality (including sex in Were - Feline / Beast form at all), Urination, Pedophilia, Necrophilia or Scat sex scenes.It's disgusting and a violation of SDL Rules. You will receive an INSTANT BAN without warning AND be reported to Proboard.com Staff Immediately!!!

No harassing of other players. This will include, but not be limited to excessive emails, derogatory comments, threats and excessive messaging thru instant messengers. Such actions will result in a permanent ban from the community.
Do not post personal information about another player anywhere on the forum. This will include, but not be limited to phone numbers, mailing addresses and workplace information.
You may not attack or try to "convert" another player when it comes to religion, political view, sexuality and /or ethnicity.
